Alexa Demie

Alexa Demie is an actor best known for playing the bold, complex character Maddy Perez in the HBO show for teens called Euphoria. The show, which focused around teenage drug abuse and recovery, was hugely successful and eventually became one of the shows with the highest viewership in HBO time. The story of Alexa was one that she could readily relate to because her neighborhood was home to the highest rate of substance use. As a child her life was a difficult time and fled her home to avoid familial dysfunction. Creative, she began to embellish regular sunglasses using jewels and other embellishments. After that, with the help of a trusted friend, began to market these. She made her first on-screen appearance in a music video. She then began to appear in TV series and short films.
